Payments
Full payment is due at the time of booking to secure your date. Invoices are issued via email and you may pay by credit card.
Money Back Guarantee
At Officially Cuffed, we only want to officiate wedding ceremonies that our couples love. If you are not completely satisfied with the work of your officiant after the ceremony is completed, Officially Cuffed will issue you a refund.
Refunds/Cancellations/Changes
In the event that you need to cancel your ceremony package, all monies received will be deemed non-refundable. If you need to make a change to the date, time, and/or location of your elopement the change must be communicated in writing and approved by Officially Cuffed before it is confirmed. We will do our best to accommodate any changes but cannot guarantee availability.
If your booked Officially Cuffed officiant is not available for your new date, time, or location, services will be considered cancelled and the refund policy above will apply.
Wedding Ceremony Timing
It’s game time! We will arrive early and be ready to get you married. Often our OC officiants have more than one wedding planned per day and need to keep a tight schedule. Please be respectful of this and start your wedding on time.
Please let your officiant know via phone or text asap if you are running late. We will do our best to accommodate a late wedding but please know we cannot guarantee that we will be able to stay to perform your ceremony. Should you be more than 15 minutes behind schedule, a fee of $50+tax will be invoiced for every 15-minute increment.
Travel
Officiant’s travel fee, up to 100 miles, is included unless otherwise specified with the Officially Cuffed office prior to booking. An additional travel fee of $0.65/mile will be invoiced if the destination exceeds 100 miles.
Guests
The Intimate Elopement package includes up to 20 guests. If you’d like to increase your guest count, you can upgrade to another package for an additional fee. Please note that the couple getting married, wedding vendors, and children three years old and under do not count towards the guest count. If you have more than the maximum number of guests for your ceremony package, an additional fee (min $50) will be assessed.
Marriage License Information
You are in charge of picking up your marriage license, as Officially Cuffed is not legally able to do this. Please consult your government website for instructions on exactly how and where to obtain your marriage license. Reminder: You will need two witnesses to sign your license.
Please note: The Officially Cuffed Money Back Guarantee only applies after your ceremony has been performed and only covers the work of your officiant, as many parts of a wedding day are outside of our control. In order to be eligible for a refund, you need to inform Officially Cuffed in writing with explanation within 48 hours of your ceremony start time.
